Logo, label, and packaging concepts for Velin, a theoretical candle brand. The name Velin is derived from the French word “vélin” (“fine parchment”), suggesting purity and subtlety. Velin is minimalist, serene, and sophisticated, with its scents evoking stillness and clarity.

I wrote each candle’s name on paper and painted each shape with watercolor and uploaded them to Photoshop. I wanted to stick with an organic, natural, and minimalist approach for the label designs.

Initial logotype ideation. I felt that Jellyka Saint-Andrew’s Queen Regular fit the tone and mood of the brand the best. I made some small adjustments to create the final logo.
